Bankcards Risk Portfolio Manager position will be responsible for Bankcards portfolio product, assisted by Bankcards Risk Portfolio team, and reporting to Risk Portfolio Policy Unit Head
Manage portfolio policy for Cards Products, focusing on healthy organic portfolio growth through portfolio programs (eg : Credit Line Increase). Working as a group within Portfolio Policy Department to set risk appetite for Bankcards product
Working together with counterpart and business to manage Bankcards portfolio to achieve plan numbers and product sustainability
Working together with counterpart and business to ensure correct policy implementation on operational level
Interact with regional counterpart for policy approval and adherence to Global/Regional Policy requirement
Provide analytics on portfolio level and segment level for the purpose of monitoring & policy adjustment with the ultimate goal of managing risk and maximizing rewards
Together with Risk MIS team, in charge of Credit Risk Reporting and Portfolio Quality Review Reporting, as well as ad-hoc reporting as needed
Recruitment Focus: Consumer Credit Risk Management:
Required Risk/Business Skills and Experience
Overall minimum 5 years of experience in Banking industry
Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer credit risk management covering wide range of products
Able to make decisions on matters pertaining to aspects of risk, especially on credit risk
Able to identify and influence key decision makers across various levels and functions within the organization
Able to work in a rapidly changing external environment and support business in a highly competitive and challenging market
Experience in Statistics/Analytics/Decision Management will be desirable.
Thinks and acts decisively in high risk scenarios, appropriately assessing a situation based on available data, experience, intuition, and judgment
Demonstrates strong ethics and integrity
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Active listening skills
Candidates must have effective negotiation skills, a proactive and ‘no surprises’ approach in communicating Risk issues, strength in sustaining independent views
Able to work across levels in risk management and also with other operations and business teams
Excellent Presentation skills – adept at presenting effectively to audiences of various sizes and adapting style as necessary
Acts as a role model for managing people, coaching, and serving as a mentor
