We are now looking for a Marketing Manager .
Marketing and Product Management (M&PM) is the corporate function responsible for:
Defining the core category growth strategies, market share targets and promotional investment levels within the total market context
Developing portfolio segmentation and product strategies & drive deployment
Defining and prioritise development priorities & improvements
Securing product profitability through product lifecycle management
Marketing Management (MM), as a function within Marketing and Product Management, is responsible for:
Providing an external, market based, forward looking view to the organization
Delivering actionable business intelligence insights to the company’s strategy development and all key stakeholders
Identifying growth opportunities and working with Product Management and Sales Management on product development and deployment, with a total portfolio view
Acting as value added consultants and influencers with Customers through delivery of impactful and relevant information
Leading and improving key company planning processes such as Strategy cycle, end to end product management, promotional investment management
As Marketing Manager , reporting to the Marketing Director, you will have the responsibility to lead and refine Tetra Pak’s approach to category development by identifying category opportunities within the framework of customers, segments, channels and business intelligence, in order to enable Tetra Pak to achieve our growth and market share ambitions.
You will highlight opportunities from a category management perspective and support stakeholders in strategy planning and execution.
Key tasks for this job are also:
Identify trends, opportunities and action plans within assigned category and sub categories; identify, collect and communicate best practices and successful business cases that have secured new opportunities and business for Tetra Pak
Work closely with Product Management teams on identified opportunity areas facilitating deployment and influencing product development
Deliver actionable integrated category information
Deliver high impact & insightful presentations to customers during meetings as consultative partner
Collaborate across Key Account functional teams with Sales Management, M&PM to ensure the correct level of integration and representation of the category, customer, channel views
Support the proposed Category Plan and Market Company Business Deployment Plan (MCBDP) preparation required from the Cluster team and market share target aspirations for core categories
Language and Education:
To be a successful candidate you should have a University Degree preferably in Marketing. MBA or equivalent titles will be considered a plus. You are fluent both in written and spoken English.
Professional Skills and Experience:
You have 6-8 years of business experience with significant Marketing experience. You currently or in the recent past have worked within the category management function. Brand/Consumer campaign experience is a strong plus.
As a person you have good leadership and influencing skills, a well rounded business outlook and an excellent value chain expertise, with particular expertise in Category Management. As a successful candidate you have strong analytical and strategic skills with high personal drive and result orientation. You are able to create strong professional network at different levels and you are flexible to manage different requests of key stakeholders. You can get others to see and believe in your point ensuring successful delivery of results and expertise. You are aware of the business and its commercial environment, including opportunities and barriers. You are an effective team player and you have excellent communication and presentation skills. You are able to develop yourself and others managing a diverse and globally dispersed network as well as your own direct reporting team, which is a key pre-requisite for this challenging and exciting role.
