BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – SOUTH EAST ASIA
ThoroughTec is seeking a high performing Business Development Manager to unearth new sales and to service existing clients in the South East Asian mining industry. Reporting initially to the Vice President Asia Pacific in Perth, this role will play an integral part in the continued expansion of ThoroughTec’s CYBERMINE leadership in South East Asia.
Location: Jakarta/Balikpapan, Indonesia or Perth, Australia
Experience Level: Junior to Senior
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Fluency in written and spoken Bahasa as well as English is a pre-requisite.
A minimum of five years’ mining industry experience in enterprise sales, business development, relationship building or client servicing.
A positive and determined approach to identifying new business opportunities using leads, relevant research tools, region specific targeting and cold calling.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.
A positive and engaging attitude in dealing with people.
An affinity for regional and international business travel (about 30% to 40% of time will be on the road)
A capability to work independently, whilst taking responsibility as an individual.
An ability to analyse opportunities and to “think outside the box”.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
A stable track record of achieving above target performance where the majority of revenue derives from new customers.
An inherently competitive nature and a hunger to succeed.
